KPK Government Wants To Withdraw 19.5% Tax on Mobile Broadband

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) government has decide to approve the proposal on to withdraw the 19.5% Tax on Mobile Broadband. In this regard KPK government has called the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Technology Board (KPITB) MD, Mr. Shehryar Khan to submit proposals in order to withdraw 19.5% Tax on Mobile Broadband (MBB).

After submission of proposals, it will be presented to the Chief Minister of the KPK Pervaiz Khattak for final approval.

The statement has been made yesterday by the Additional Secretary of the Province Mr. Azam Khan and requested the MD of KPITB to submit proposals within one week.

Earlier in January, 2016 KPK government has demanded to withdraw 19.5% Tax on Mobile Broadband and data services. Following KPK initiative Punjab and Singh Government also demanded to remove tax on cellular services in order to relief the subscribers.
