Pak Suzuki To Launch New Cultus in April

The Pak Suzuki Motor Company Limited is all set to launch the all new Cultus instead of previously heard Celerio. The PSMCL now has stopped to book orders for the 16 years old model of Cultus and has a plan to introduce the all new Cultus in April.

It was earlier thought that Pak Suzuki will halt the production of Cultus and will launch the new model called Celerio but now the sources said that the company is planning to launch new Cultus in April this year.

Pak Suzuki has informed the authorised dealers that all pending orders of the previous model will be served as per its commitment.

Pak Suzuki Motor Company will have the supply of locally produced parts and accessories for the existing model till 6th February from vendors, revealed, Mashood Ali Khan, the chairman of the Pakistan Association of Automotive Parts and Accessories Manufacturers.

He further added that the new Cultus would enjoy a greater “localisation of parts”. The price of new Cultus would be low and affordable.

The Suzuki Cultus has replaced the Suzuki Khyber (1,000cc) in the year 2000.

The price of new Cultus mentioned on the company’s website is Rs1.124 million for the regular model and Rs1.199m for the CNG model.

No Celerio but All-New Cultus:

Pak Suzuki Motor Company Limited last year in October in a presentation told the Senate Standing Committee on Industries and Production that would introduce a model called Suzuki Celerio in March 2017. And the Suzuki Celerio will replace the existing Cultus besides other models.

On the other hand the spokesperson for the company, Shafiq Ahmed Sheikh rejects the reports about Suzuki Celerio on Wednesday and stated that the company has in fact intended to announce an all-new model with the name of Cultus in manual VXR and VXL models in April this year. He said the automatic version of new Cultus will be introduced later this year on reviewing the market demand.
