The actual gain of running Ubuntu by download it from the Windows Store is that you don’t have to muddle around with dual boot or install virtual machines or get into any other mess.

In order to download Ubuntu from Windows App store, users will have to steer to Control Panel and choose the “Turn Windows features on or off” menu. There, you’ll be able to select the “Windows Subsystem for Linux,” which will permit Ubuntu to work after a reboot.
