Ansoo: Short Film On Junaid Jamshed’s Life Set To Release on Dec 1. Ansoo, a short film on the life of singer-turned-religious scholar Junaid Jamshed, is all set to release on 1st December, 2017. Junaid Jamshed, a name who needs no introduction. Ansoo is a documentary film on 30-year long career of Junaid Jamshed. Jamshed started his singing career in 1980s as lead singer of Vital Signs band. Later on, he bid farewell to showbiz industry and turned himself into a religious scholar.
He died in a plane crash on the way to Islamabad from Chitral on 7th December, 2016. After a year of his accidental death, Ansoo, all set to release on 1st December 2017. The short film Ansoo is directed by Imraan Ahmad Khan, the movie also showcased last conversation by the religious scholar Junaid Jamshed.

The director of the film Imran Ahmad Khan also told a local media that the short film Ansoo will demonstrate the secret aspects of Jamshed’s life as a kind person.
Salman Ahmed told that the film Ansoo has been inspired by Junaid Jamshed’s love for his friends, family, his fans and of course his love for his country, Pakistan.

He also revealed that the film Ansoo is based on a poem by Baba Bulleh Shah, “Kadee Aa Mil Yaar Pyareya”.
