Coursera and PM’s Youth Programme Collaborate for Offering Skill Development Programme
Coursera, the Massive online open course (MOOC) provider has made collaboration with PM’s Youth Programme in order to facilitate the youth with learning programmes and certificates that are associated to the skill development needs of the communities. The Coursera collaboration with PM’s Youth Programme, other Pakistani government institutions and seven other countries including include the United States, Malaysia, Kazakhstan, Egypt, Mongolia and Singapore, this week through its ‘Coursera for Governments and Nonprofits’ programme.
Under the partnership Coursera will intended youth to concoct their communities for the jobs of the future by providing reasonable access to curated learning programmes and certificates that are affiliated to the skill development needs of the communities.
According to a statement issued by the organization revealed that Coursera and overseas technology has made collaboration with Prime Minister’s Youth Programme and other public institutions in order to train 3,000 young adults across Pakistan. The members will have online courses in computer science, data analytics, career success and language learning, and receive wraparound services from 13+ physical learning centres.
The partners with Coursera will be supported in designing new scalable learning models in programme.
The skill development programme include blending online learning with in-person services and tracking learners’ course progress and skill gains through Coursera’s in-platform analytics.
