First solar eclipse 2019 is all set to occur on Sunday, 6th January and this will be partial solar eclipse and will be visible in north Pacific and northeast Asia, including Beijing, Irkutsk in Russia, Seoul, Taipei, and Tokyo.

A solar eclipse takes place when the moon passes between Earth and the Sun, thus completely or partially hindering the light of the Sun for the Earth. The partial solar eclipse takes place in the polar regions of the Earth when the center of the Moon’s shadow misses the Earth.

This is first solar eclipse of the year 2019 and will be of partial, which means that the moon will block only a portion of the sun, while the second solar eclipse will be on 13 July 2019.

This is the first and partial solar eclipse of the year 2019 and is all set to start at the first location on 5th January at 23:34 and will end on 6th January at 6 Jan, 03:48

Visibility of the Solar Eclipse:

The first and partial solar eclipse 2019, Suraj Grahan, will not be visible in Pakistan, India and many other Asian countries.

But it will be visible in north Pacific, northeast Asia, Europe, Australia, Beijing, Irkutsk in Russia, Seoul, Taipei, and Tokyo.

If you see the solar eclipse with the bared eyes it can damage your cornea. Doctors and medical experts said that to watch the solar eclipse with the naked eyes can leave damaging effects the cornea of the eyes. Therefore before watching the suraj graham you need to take some necessary precautions. In order to watch the solar eclipse special equipment are needed such as special solar glasses, darkened welder’s glasses, pinhole camera, medical X-ray film and other tools.
