How to Make Black Gram (Mash Daal) Dahi Baray
Mash Daal Dahi Baray Recipe
Ingredients for Dahi Baray:
- Black Gram/Mash ki Daal 2 Cups
- Red Chili powder 1 tsp
- Salt 1 tsp
- Baking soda 1 tsp
In a blender add all the above mentioned ingredients and blend well. Now add cumin seeds in the mixture and pour it into the bowl. Now in a frying pan add oil and fry the mixture just like you fry pakoras.
After making Mash Daal baray soak them into the water for 15 minutes.
Now you required:
- Yogurt 1 kg
- Papri 5 to 6 pieces
- Green sauce (chatni) 5 tbsp
- Tamarind Sauce (imli ki Chutni) 5tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper 1 tsp
- Chat Masala 2 tbsp
- Choppen onion one
- Chopped tomato 2
- Grated Cabbage half
- Pomegranate half cup
In a bowl add yogurt, salt and mix well. Now in a serving try pour yogurt and add mash daal baray in it and sprinkle chat masla on it.
Now sprinkle onion, pomegranate, cabbage and tomato on it. It a turn to sprinkle green sauce and tamarind sauce on it.
Finally crushed papri and serve it.
