Jazz Rising Stars Documentary on Talent Hunt Program in Pakistan

Jazz and Lahore Qalandars jointly started the Talent Hunt Program in the country in order to bring the young talent forward.

Above 110,000 Young Pakistanis has taken part in Jazz Rising Stars. Under the slogan of ‘Dunya Ko Bataa Do’ Jazz offered a platform to the enthusiastic youth to be the next cricketing stars for Pakistan.

As the part of the Jazz Rising Stars campaign Aaqib Javed and Mudassar Nazar selected the best rising cricket talent youth via cricket trial camps held in eight districts of Punjab. Approximately 111,553 participants joined in the cricket trials. They selected shortlisted talented cricket players from each district to represent their districts in Jazz Rising Stars T20 Cup.

The Jazz Rising Stars T20 Cup tournament were held at the Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore on 24th September, 2016 to  1st October, 2016. Geo Super had offered the entire coverage of the tournament for broadcasting on TV

The selected 16 players got the chance to travel all the way to Australia to involve with and learn from the present leading Big Bash League Champions 2016, the Sydney Thunders.

The best 4 players of Jazz Rising Stars T20 Cup 2016, batsmen and bowlers, to signify the Lahore Qalandars in the Pakistan Super League 2017.
