HTC is all set to launch the all new squeezable smartphone in Taiwan the U11. The HTC U11 can be squeezed while taking selfies. It is capable to offer different actions – such as firing up the camera or launching Google Maps or messages.
The HTC U11 includes a houses technology called Edge Sense which responds when being squeezed. With the new features the tech giant is to throw competition to the new Samsung Galaxy S8 and the iPhone 7.
HTC says that it will also support voice dictation for messages.
The U11 samrtphone has a sleek and stylish outer look with precious minerals on the surface for glossy outlook and 3D glass on the both side to make it comfortable in use. The HTC U11 includes a 5.5 inches LCD display, with 1440 x 2560 pixels of resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 with HTC Sense UI.
It is powered by the1.9 GHz Kryo Octa-core Qualcomm MSM8998 Snapdragon 835 processor and runs on Android 7.1 Nougat operating system. It includes a 4 GB RAM with 64 GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 256 GB via microSD card.
The HTC U11 smartphone includes a 12 MP rare facing camera with f/1.7, phase detection autofocus, OIS, dual-LED (dual tone) flash and the front facing camera is clogged at 16 MP.
In terms of connectivity the U11 includes Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA, hotspot, Bluetooth 4.2, A2DP, LE, GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, BDS and NFC.
The HTC U11 includes Non-removable Li-Ion 3000 mAh battery which offers Up to 336 h (3G) standby time and Up to 24 h 30 min (3G) talk time. The dimensions of U11 are 153.9 x 75.9 x 7.9 mm (6.06 x 2.99 x 0.31 in) and weight is 169 g (5.96 oz).
