This year Muslims will celebrate Eid-al-Adha on 12th September, 2016 in Pakistan.  Eid-al-Adha is Islamic festival of Muslims and celebrated annually around the world with the sacrifices of animals in honors of Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S) disposition to sacrifice his son Hazrat Ismael (A.S) to Allah. This Eid festival also marks the end of the Hajj pilgrimage to Mecca.

Eid al-Adha 2016 in Pakistan is anticipated to be celebrated on 12th of September but the dates may vary according to the sighting of the moon. If a Zil Hajj moon is sighted on 2nd September, then the Eid will be celebrated on Monday 12th of September.
