The federal government has reduced the petrol price in Pakistan to Rs.1.86/litre from 1st September 2024.
The federal government has reduced the price of petrol in Pakistan from 1st September. The government decreased the petrol price in Pakistan on the 15th of August and now once again reduced the price by Rs.1.86. The press wing of the prime minister’s office issued a notification revealing that the federal government has decreased the petrol price by Rs. 1.86 per liter, and the price of high-speed diesel by Rs. 3.32 per liter.
The government has also reduced the prices of Light diesel and kerosene oil by Rs. 2.97 and Rs. 2.15 per litre, respectively.
It is worth mentioning that the government increased the price of petroleum products in Pakistan on 15th August by Rs. 8.47 per liter for petrol and also reduced the price of high-speed diesel. 6.7 per litre., and now, the government has decreased the prices of petroleum products.
The cost of high-speed diesel in Pakistan is Rs. 262.75 per litre; on the other hand, the petrol price in Pakistan is Rs. 259.1 per litre. The price of light diesel and kerosene oil is now Rs. 169.62 and Rs. 154.05 per litre respectively.
OGRA has also increased the LPG price in Pakistan by Rs. 2.72. The price goes up to Rs 236.99 per kilogram. The new LPG price in Pakistan will be in effect from Wednesday, 1st August 2024.
The prices of petroleum products in Pakistan in August are as follows according to a notification issued by the Finance Ministery:

Validity of New Petrol and Diesel Prices in Pakistan
The decrease in petroleum prices is approved, and new prices will remain in place till September 15.
