The chairman of Route Hilal committee, Mufti Muneeb ur Rehman has declared the percentage for Sadaqa Al-Fitar(also known as Zakatul-Fitr) in Ramzan 2017. This amount is separate from the annual payment of Zakat and need to pay before the Eid Prayer.
The minimum sadqa al fitar is Rs.100 and every one need to pay it according to his/her financial conditions, said Mufti Muneeb ur Rehman. This amount is set in accordance with the market price of 2.25 kilograms of flour which sums up to about Rs. 100 per head. As per wheat rate the sadqa al fitar is Rs.100, Rs.240 for barley, while as per dates and Raisins rates its Rs.1600 per person.
Roza Fidiya is Rs.7200 as per barley rate and Rs.48,000 as per dates and Raisins rates.
