Hyundai Sonata 2020 becomes official in Pakistan as the Hyundai Nishat has introduced it in the Pakistan Auto Show 2020 (PAPS 2020) at the International Expo Centre Lahore. The company has introduced the six new high-end vehicles in the three days of the PAPS 2020 including Sante FE and Tucson.
The Hyundai Sonata 2020 is a perfect showcase for Hyundai’s characteristic mix of attractive design and high-level features at an affordable price and it will soon be available for purchase in Pakistan.
Hyundai Motor Company and Nishat Group had made the partnership in 2017. The company has a manufacturing plant in Faisalabad and is already working together to manufacture Hyundai Porter H-100 truck in Pakistan.

Sonata is the company’s totally locally assembled car in Pakistan which is unveiled by the company in the country’s largest Show Pakistan Auto Show 2020.

Exterior
The Sonata 2020 by Hyundai Nishat is not only the best driver’s car in a class with a few dynamic standouts, but also has decent handling and plenty of torque. The complete design of the Sonata subsidizes to its eco-friendliness as well. It features the huge front grille and taillight designs with the wedge-like headlight making it a fairly attractive looking vehicle. The headlamps are Dynamic LED Quad Projectors that also comprise high-pitched triangular Daytime Running Lights that augment the front end look.
The side-mirrors of Sonata 2020 provide the integrated turn signals. For the striking looks, the company has added the chrome door-handles with the integrated pocket lights that offer handy in the dark.

Interior
The interior of Sonata is good-looking and feels like it’s worth more than the price. Its interior is feeling like a roomy, contemporary and elegant. The back seat is relaxed and commodious, the materials look and feel classy, and the dashboard layout is simple and ergonomic. The interior includes tech-features and eye-catching aesthetics like a silver trim, a mixture of cream and black leather, boards and seats, multi-colored gadget bunch, and a modest and easy to operate center control stack.
The infotainment system relies on an 8.0-inch center touchscreen that includes multiple features such as navigation, Android Auto, video playing mode, Apple Carplay, and much more.
The Sonata has rear air openings for dual-zone air conditioning. The gadget cluster comprises all the important information including engine temperature, speedometer and tachometer, etc. on the other hand the steering wheel panels assist the driver control several functions of the car such as the sound system and cell-phone connectivity.
Hyundai Sonata 2020’s Engine, Transmission, and Performance
The Sonata is at least reasonably quick with engine capped at 2.5MPI liter engine coupled with a 6-speed automatic gear and 1.6 liter turbocharged engine. It has DOHC, 4 cylinder, 16 Valve, gasoline-powered motor, mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. The engine makes 178 HP @6,000 RPM and 232 NM of torque @4,000 RPM

Hyundai Nishat has introduced the Sonata along with the six high-end vehicles in Pakistan Auto Show 2020 (PAPS 2020) at the International Expo Centre Lahore. The car will be available at an affordable price and it will soon be available for purchase in Pakistan.
There are no exact pricing and availability details yet. But it is expected that it will retail in Rs.12 million.
