The ICC World Cup 2023 is all set to kick in on October 5 in India, and the International Cricket Council (ICC) announced the prize money for the winning teams.
England is the defending champions, beating New Zealand in the final in London in 2019. Like the World Cup 2019, this year’s tournament follows the same allocation of prize money among the participating teams.
The winner will get $4 million USD, while the runner-up will get $2 Million. On the other hand, the teams that lose semi-finalists will each make $800,000.
