Now You Can Silent Annoying People With WhatsApp New Feature. WhatsApp has started rolling out a new feature which lets the users to silent the annoying people. According to a source, the WhatsApp is reportedly launching a ‘Restricted Groups’ setting, letting group admin to limit the members of its group.
If you’re the group admin only you will be allowed to send any messages including text, gifs, pictures and videos. Everyone else will only be able to read them.
The WhatsApp feature Restricted Groups’ setting can only be enabled by group admins. If you are admin of the group and you switch on the Restricted Groups’ setting will disables all chat functionality for the group member. They will not be able to send text messages, pictures, videos, GIFs, documents or voice messages, or share their location on WhatsApp .
On the other hand admins will only be able to text and share pictures, videos, GIFs, documents or voice messages and other members of group will simply have to read their messages in silence on WhatsApp .
If you are a group member and want to participate in the conversation you can do so by using the Message Admin button.
However, your message will require to be approved by the admin before appearing to the rest of the group. Admins will only be able to change the setting every 72 hours, which means group members will be silenced for days at a time.
