Pakistan Railway to Launch Sada Salamat Train For Tourism
Pakistan Railway and Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC) have join hand to promote tourism in Pakistan and decided to launch the Sada Salamat Train.
The Special train by Pakistan Railway for Tourism Sada Salamat will be official on 25th December, 2016 and will run from Rawalpindi to Karachi.
By launching the Sada Salamt Train their ambition is to promote tourism in country and to make railway stations more facilitating in order to attract more passengers on daily basis, Said Managing Director PTDC, Chaudhary Abdul Ghafoor.
He said the travelling from train is more affordable and this initiative will offer more affordable facilities to the people of Pakistan. PTDC managing director Chaudhary Abdul Ghafoor also said that they are pondering over to establish Tourist Information Center (TIC) in Khewra as the Khewra Salt Mines are the backbone of the country’s mineral industry.
