PCTB Decides to Include Essays on the Life of Prophet (PBUH) Instead of Mr. Chips

Essays on the Life of Prophet (PBUH) will be in the syllabus of intermediate English instead of Mr. Chips, PCTB.

There is a good news for the students of the intermediate in Pakistan now finally the Punjab Curriculum and Textbook board (PCTB) has decides to include the Essays on the Life of Prophet (PBUH) in the English syllabus instead of Mr. Chips.

The Punjab Curriculum and Textbook board (PCTB) has now finally decided to remove the novel of Mr. Chips in the syllabus of intermediate English.

The well-known novel Mr. Chips is included in the syllabus of intermediate English for 55 years in Pakistan and that is causing the difficulty for the students in English paper, as the novel carries 20 marks section in the paper, but now there will be essays on the life of Prophet (PBUH).

The novel Mr. Chips was written by James Hilton in 1934 which revolves around the character of a school teacher, namely Mr. Chips.

This novel is being taught in the intermediate English syllabus for the 55 years and now the PCTB has finally decided to remove it from the syllabus.

The novel will be replaced with essays on life of the Prophet (PBUH).

PCTB will produce the paper work in this regard soon.
