Now the General Public Can Visit Sindh Governor House. The historical Sindh Governor House is now open for the general public. The families can pay the visit to the governor house today on 7th September, 2018. So it’s a great opportunity for the people of Sindh to visit the office of the father of the nation Quaid-i-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah and some of its other sections of the governor house.
This is the first time in the history that the citizen of Sindh can visit the governor house in Karachi. The Governor house is a historical building with many rare artifacts inside. The visitors who are interested to explore the Sindh Governor House by entering from the Gate No 1 after depositing their National Identity Cards.
The governor house is a historical building built in 1939. It’s the house of a number of renowned personalities including pre-independence British governors of Sindh followed by the Governors-General of Pakistan, the President of Pakistan and the present day governors.
The Governor House is the official residence of the governor of Sindh and is located along the Aiwan-e-Sadar Road of Karachi and now open for the general public.The public who will visit the governor house will be given access to the lawns, the office used by Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah.
As we told above that there are a number of rare aircrafts in the governor house but people are not allowed to see them. So the Sindh governor house is open today for the public and special guided tours, for school-going children and other visiting families, have also been arranged to show them the historical building.
The government is also planning school children pre-booked paid tours to start on weekends.
