Shawwal moon sighting 2023 in Pakistan
Ruet-e-Hilal Committee of Pakistan has officially declared that the Shawwal Moon 2023 in Pakistan has not been sighted therefore Eid-ul-Fitr is to be on Saturday, April 22.
The Ruet-e-Hilal Committee meeting has taken place in Islamabad under the chair of RHC Chairman Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad on the Shawwal moon sighting 2023 in Pakistan. On the other hand, the zonal committees of Karachi and Punjab, Peshawar ended their meeting after they could not sight the Shawwal Moon 2023 in Pakistan.
The Ruet-e-Hilal Committee has also decided and officially announced that the Eid-ul-Fitr 2023 in Pakistan will be on Saturday, 22nd April in Pakistan. On the other hand, India, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka will celebrate Eid as the Shawwal crescent moon was not sighted in all these countries as well.
As per Pakistan Meteorological Department’s prediction, there were fewer chances of the Shawwal moon sighting in 2023 in Pakistan on 20th April in the country.
The predictions say that the Shawwal 2023 moon will be born at 9:13 am between the night of April 20 and its age will be less than 10 hours that day, whereas the time between sunset and moonset will be too short (just 40 minutes).
The expert said;
“The new moon of Shawwal 1444 AH will be born on the night between 20th April at 09.13 am. The time between sunset and moonset will be only 40 minutes.”
On the other hand, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and UAE will celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr 2023 on Friday, 21st of April.
