In a notice, the media administrative body had said that the substance of Jalan conflicts with the estimations of the Pakistani society and that watchers and crowds have been unequivocally condemning the dramatization and its storyline. It further said that the channel and the dramatization’s producers had been consistently advised to alter the content and substance of the show and align it with Pakistani ethics and morals. But since they didn’t consent to PEMRA’s organization and overlooked its admonitions, the administrative body had no real option except to boycott the dramatization under Section 27 of the PEMRA Ordinance.
Drama serial Jalan is around two sisters Nisha (Minal) and Misha (Areeba).
