An awful incident happened in Thailand where a father killed her 11 months old daughter and was live on Facebook live streaming. A man Wuttisan Wongtalay killed his daughter and then himself, said Thai police.
He posted two video clips streaming one of killing his daughter on the rooftop of a deserted hotel and second of his own suicide. When the relatives saw the video clips on Monday they informed the police.
The painful footage of murder by the Thai person was available to Facebook users for approximately 24 hours before being taken down. The first video had been viewed 112,000 times by mid-afternoon on Tuesday, while the second video had 258,000 views.
Some of the viewers have posted the horrible videos on Google’s Youtube but the authorities have removed the videos within 15 minutes.
Due to this tragic incident Facebook authorities are under pressure due to its live streaming facility. Facebook has removed this horrible footage and said
“This is an appalling incident and our hearts go out to the family of the victim. There is absolutely no place for content of this kind on Facebook and it has now been removed.”
This is not the first time we heard about such type of horrible incidents’ live streaming on Facebook. Earlier live videos of a man tortured and brutally attacked, a 15 year old girl rape in Chicago and the murder of 74 year old former foundry worker Robert Godwin have been posted and viewed by much wider audience.
