The Windows Security Update Starts Rolling Out But Will Slow Down Your PCs. Yesterday we reported you that the according to a recent discovery the widely used Intel Chips across the world have a design error that will make your PCs to slow or vulnerable to malware.
An OS update will fix this error and will slow down your PCs and cause the flawed processors to run at an even slower rate than usual. Now in order to fix the issue Microsoft has released an OS update for Windows 7,8 and 10.
The Windows Security Update will automatically be available for the Window 10 today while the update will automatically install on older versions of Windows 10 as well as Windows 7 and 8.
On the other hand, for Windows 7 and 8, the security update will be available next Tuesday.
Though the company started rolling out the timely update to fix the issue but it will slow down the performance of your PCs. For older processors, performance reduction will be 23% while the new ones will have 17% performance reduction.
