Pakistan vs. South Africa Cricket Series 2018-19 is all set to kick off on 26th December, 2018 with the 1st test match between the two teams at SuperSport Park, Centurion. The second Test will be played at Cape Town from 3rd to 7th January, 2019, while the third and final test match is in Johannesburg from 11th to 15th January.

Pakistan will also play three tests, five one-day internationals and three Twenty20 internationals on the tour.

The selection committee of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) today on Friday 7th December, 2018 has officially declared the 16 members squad against the South Africa. Sarfraz Ahmad will lead as a captain and the selection committee has also recalled Muhammad Amir to participate in the cricket series against South Africa. Amir was dropped from the team after waning to get a single wicket in three Asia Cup matches in United Arab Emirates (UAE) in September this year.

He was unable to participate in the two-match Test series against Australia and then three Tests against New Zealand.

Now the chief selector Inzamam-ul-Haq has once again given an opportunity to Muhammad Aamir because the left-armer has recouped his form in domestic matches. The team also include the leg-spinner Shadab Khan, and openers Fakhar Zaman and Shan Masood.
