PSO Sent Termination Letters to 1700 Workers

PSO Sent Termination Letters to 1700 Workers. Pakistan State Oil (PSO) has decided to fire the employees, who are working on daily wage and are low-paid. In this regard PSO has started sending termination letters to around 1,700 employees.

The management of Pakistan State Oil (PSO) has taken this step in order to prevent them from pursuing a court case for regularisation of their services. As per court order the PSO has regularised over 200 daily-wage employees who were working in the company’s head office in Karachi.

PSO has been hired nearly 1,700 daily-wage employees time to time over the years and now send them the termination letters to halt their services in a bit to stop their regularization. These workers are working in different PSO offices across the country on daily-wages and their salary range from Rs15,000 to Rs50,000 per month.
