Public Holidays On Eid-ul-Fitr 2018 In Pakistan. This year it is expected that the Eid-ul-Fitr 2018 in Pakistan will be celebrated on June 16. The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has revealed that the Eid-ul-Fitr 2018 would likely to be on June 16 as there are less chances of the shawwal moon to be sighted on 14th June in the country.
The PMD said that there are visible chances of the Shawwal moon being sighted on 15th June 2018 in Pakistan. This year the highest chances that the holy month of Ramadan will remain for 30 days.
The final announcement regarding the sighting of shawwal moon will be made by the central Ruet e Hilal Committee in Pakistan on 14th June.
On the other hand the government has decided to announce five public holidays for Eid-ul-Fitr 2018 in Pakistan.
The Interior Ministry on Friday finalised and submitted a summary for five holidays for Eidul Fitr 2018 in Pakistan.
As per the media reports the Interior Ministry has approved the five holidays this year. The five public holidays for Eidul Fitr will start from June 14 to June 18. The summery is expected to get approval today on Friday. After the approval there will be five holidays on Eid.
Last year, the government had announced only three holidays for the Eid-ul-Fitr.
If the summery of Interior Ministry will be approved by the government then there will be five public holidays on Eidul Fitr 2018 in Pakistan.

Government has today officially announced the public holidays for Eidu-ul-Fitr. There will be four official holidays for Eid starting from 15th June to 18th June. The Holidays for Eid will start from Friday Jun 15 to Monday June 18 in the country.
