Pakistan Post Introduces Same Day Delivery Service.Pakistan Post is ready to introduce a new Same Day Delivery service in twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi. In order to make the speedy transportation of consignments Pakistan Post to launch the Same Day Delivery Service in 24 selected areas of Islamabad and Rawalpindi. The Same Day Delivery Service by Pakistan Post will officially be launched on Thursday (tomorrow). Minister for Postal Services, Maulana Syed Ameer Zaman Bukhari, will inaugurate the service. Post Master General Arshad Ali Khan told the media that the service will be launched under the commands of Prime Minister to make the organization a profit-earning and vibrant unit. Details and Charges: Same Day Delivery Service by Pakistan Post allows up to 20 kilograms of goods to dispatch in a single day after the booking. The special desks have been established at 24 selected branches of Pakistan Post in Islamabad and Rawalpindi and would be equipped with motorbikes for speedy and timely service. The Same Day Delivery Service charges will be Rs. 150 for 500 gram weight shipment with extra charges of Rs.50 against each 500 gram addition in the parcel. Furthermore the customers would also get SMS regarding the status of their mail, parcels and gifts sent to their dear ones. How to book?
