Necessary Precautions and Foods to Combat Air Pollution. The pollution in air reached dangerous level and creating hazardous health issues. The atmosphere in Lahore and adjoining cities is polluted with the smog blanket and the smog is to stay for more days in the city, said Pakistan Meteorologist Department. The polluted air in Lahore is causing eye burning, heavy breathing and respiratory problems.

You need to take fruits and vegetables rich in vitamin C. The use of vitamin C is very much essential in this current atmosphere condition because it contains antioxidants that helps to remove toxins. The regular use of Vitamin C oriented foods is necessary for maintain the lungs function. The body also needs Vitamin E,  the Fat soluble vitamin. The use of Vitamin E rich foods helps to repair the damage human body tissues.

You need also to eat leafy green vegetables including the cabbage, parsley, coriander leaves, fenugreek, Onion, peas Lettuce, spinach and carrots to have Beta Carotene that converted into Vitamin A.  The use of Vitamin A is very essential for the body. It is an antioxidant that fights toxins.

Use glasses when going out and wash eyes frequently to avoid burning.

The government does its bit to improve the air quality and calls for emergency closing down of schools, public places so people could come in contact of this danger as less as possible.

Kung Pao Chicken Recipe on Daytimes

Ingredients for Kung Pao Chicken:

  • Boneless chicken half kg
  • Soya sauce
  • Salt as per taste
  • Baking powder ¼ tsp
  • Black Pepper (Kali mirch) powder as per taste
  • Corn flour
  • Oil
  • Chicken stock
  • Vinegar
  • Chili sauce
  • Brown sugar
  • Dried red chilli chopped
  • Green onion
  • Ginger 1 tsp
  • Garlic 1 tsp
  • Bell pepper (different colors)

Preparation:

Firstly have boneless chicken mix salt , soya sauce 1tsp. baking powder ¼ tsp, kali mirch powder ¼ tsp, corn flour 1 tsp and fry it in 2 tsp oil until it become brown. Now have 1 tsp oil in a pan , add garlic , ginger, red chopped chili, bell pepper different colors and green onion stir fry them. After this add chicken in it.

Now you need to make sauce of  kung pao chicken for that

Pour chicken stock in a bowl , mix brown sugar , soya sauce, vinegar, chili sauce, kali mirch powder , salt as per taste mix corn flour and make a mixture.

After this pour this mixture in chicken you make ready and let it fry for 2 minutes. Add dried nuts as per your taste.

Kung pao chicken is ready; serve it with egg fried rice.

Lahori Charga is one of the most popular dishes of Lahore. People love to eat spicy and tender Lahori Charga. You should try it at home because its very easy to cook. So what are you waiting for have the relish of Lahori Charga at home. See the complete recipe of Lahori Charga on daytimes below:

Ingredients:

  • Chicken 1 Kg
  • White vinegar ½ Cup
  • Ginger, garlic paste 3 tablespoon
  • Yogurt 2 cups
  • Red pepper 1tablespoon
  • Chat Masala 6 Table spoon
  • Cumin seeds half tea spoon
  • Lemon Juice 2 tablespoon
  • Salt to taste
  • Yellow food color as required
  • Oil for frying

Method:

Put medium cuts of the chicken. Now add all the ingredients in the yogurt and stir well. Pour the paste on the chicken to marinate it. Let it absorb the ingredients flavor in it for one hour. Now steam the chicken to tender and then fry in the oil. When chicken starts getting brown color put off the flame and puts Lahori Charga in to dish to decorate with lemon, tomatoes and salad leaves.
