Herbal Teas Recipes For Cold and Flu in Winter Season

The cold and flu season is at its peak. Especially in Pakistan due to the climate change people are getting more flu and cold. Today we will tell you some easy to make herbal teas recipes for fighting cold and flu.

There are ample amount of herbal teas that taste delicious and can help you to get rid of cold and flu fast.

In themed of winter season it’s a nice way to have simple, easy to make herbal teas that can help give some relief while recovering from a cold or the flu. You can find the herbal teas recipes below:

  1. Herbal Tea

Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons sage (herb)
  • Lemon Juice one tablespoon
  • Cayenne pepper one pinch
  • Honey one tablespoon
  • Water 2 cup

Method:

Add 2 cups of water in a pan now add all the above mentioned herbs and put on the flame to boil well for 10 minutes. Now strain out herbs and drink hot herbal tea to defeat cold and flu.

  1. Herbal Tea

Ingredients:

  • Chopped garlic cloves 2-4
  • Ginger slice 3-4
  • Honey 2 tablespoon
  • Lemon Juice 2 tablespoon
  • Water one cup

 

Method:

Add all the above mentioned ingredients and water in a pan now put on the flame to boil well for 5 minutes. Now strain out herbs and drink hot herbal tea to defeat cold and flu.

  1. Herbal Tea

Ingredients:

  • Cinnamon powder ¼ spoon
  • Clove 4 to 5
  • Honey 1 tablespoon
  • Water one cup

Method:

Boil one cup of water with cinnamon powder and cloves. Now pour the water into cup add honey and drink hot herbal tea by sipping slowly.

Note:

The most important thing when you have cold and flu try to do rest as much as you can. No cup of tea will make you feel amazingly 100% better after just one cup. Continue to drink herbal teas to clear your system of congestion and irritating toxins, and hype your strength.

The atmosphere in Lahore and adjoining cities is polluted with the smog blanket and the smog is to stay for more days in the city, said Pakistan Meteorologist Department. The polluted air in Lahore is causing eye burning, heavy breathing and respiratory problems.

We would tell you some foods that are helpful in combating the air pollution. These foods contain the natural antioxidant and nutrients that can stimulate your body to deal with this present air pollution.

You need to take fruits and vegetables rich in vitamin C. The use of vitamin C is very much essential in this current atmosphere condition because it contains antioxidants that helps to remove toxins. The regular use of Vitamin C oriented foods is necessary for maintain the lungs function. The body also needs Vitamin E,  the Fat soluble vitamin. The use of Vitamin E rich foods helps to repair the damage human body tissues.
