Shab-e-Barat 2018 To Be Observed Today. Shab e-Barat 2018 is to be celebrated today on the night of 1st May and 2nd May will be the day of Shab e-Barat.

Shab e-Barat aka Mid-Sha’ban or Bara’at Night will be observed all over the world today evening on 15th Shaban, which marks the midway point of the Islamic month of Shaban. Shab e-Barat is the night of night of forgiveness or Day of Atonement.

The month of Shaban this year started on 18th April, and the 15th Shaban will be today evening on 1st May.

Shab e-Barat is also known as Laylat al-Bara’at in the Arab world. It’s the night when Allah showers His blessing and forgives the sinners. Shab-e-Barat is also regarded as the evening when fortunes of the people are decided for the upcoming year.

Today Shab-e-Barat will be observed across the world with great zeal and devotion to seek Allah’s forgiveness and blessings.

Muslims organize special prayers in mosques to seek Allah’s forgiveness at night also visit the graves of their loved ones and will pray for their eternal peace.

In Muslim countries families prepare special foods like rice, halwa and deserts to distribute among poor.

After the Shaban, Ramadan 2018 will begin on the evening 15th May, and will end in the evening of 14th June.

Shaban 2018 to Begin on April 18 in Pakistan. The Islamic month of Shaban 1439 Hijri is all set to begin on 18th April, 2018.

Shaban moon 2018 is not sighted today in Pakistan therefore the 1st Shaban will begin on the night of 17th April and April 18, 2018 will the first day of Shaban, announced the Ruet-i-Hilal Committee.

The announcement was made by Chairman of the Central Ruet-i-Hilal Committee, Mufti Munib-ur-Rehman, after chairing the meeting of the committee.

The Ministry Religious Affairs has also issued a notification and as per notification, the first of Shaban will fall on Wednesday 18th April in Pakistan.

Shaban is the 8th month of the Islamic year. The Islamic year 1439 Hijri began on 1st Muharram on Friday 22nd September 2017.

The Islamic month of Shaban 1438 Hijri is all set to begin in Pakistan on 28th April 2017 if the Shaban Moon is sighted today on 27th April. The 1st of Shaban will be on 28th April 2017 in Pakistan while the Shab-e-Barat will be observed on Thursday night 11th May.

The Central Ruet-e-Hilal committee Mufti Munib-ur-Rehman will officially declare about the sighting of the Shaban Moon 2017 in Pakistan today.

Muslims start their new year with sacred month Muharram that is first month of Islamic calendar. Muharram means “forbidden” and is very saddest month for Muslims as Hazrat Imam Hassan (R.A) and Hazrat Hussain (R.A) Are murdered by Yazid . On 9th and 10th Muharram 2016 in Pakistan are followed by the public holidays. If the Ruat-e- Hilal committee declares the Muharram 2016 moon sighting in Pakistan on 1st of October, then holidays of  9th and 10th Muharram/Ashura will be on 11th and 12th of October .

Muharram mmoon 2016 is not sighted in Pakistan on 1st of October, it may be visible on 2nd October, then first muharram 2016 will start on 2nd October 2016.
