IHC Has Lift Ban From Government Jobs and Recruitment. We informed you that Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) had temporary banned the recruitment for the government jobs. The ban on the Recruitment for the government jobs was imposed due to upcoming elections 2018.

The ban on the Recruitment for the government jobs was applicable from 1st April and will remain until the elections 2018 in the country. In this regard ECP had issued a notification on Wednesday in this regard and according to the statement issued there would be a hiring freeze in appointments made by federal, provincial and local governments.

The provisional and government authorities has submit a petition against ECP declaration in the Islamabad High Court (IHC) and in today hearing IHC has issued the verdict in favor of petition.

ECP Banned Recruitment for Government Jobs

The provincial and government institutes submit a petition in Islamabad High Court against ECP decision last week. And Today, IHC has announced the decision of this hearing.

Saqib Nisar Sahib, the chief justice of Pakistan, has taken sou moto notice on the ban on government jobs and recruitment. The Supreme Court noticed the IHC to declare the verdict so in today hearing the final decision announced by the Islamabad High Court bench headed by Justice Aamer Farooq.

Now there is no ban on government jobs and recruitment and the vacant posts will be fulfilled as per requirements.

SC nullifies IHC decision regarding imposition of ban on Aamir Liaqat.Supreme Court (SC) has nullified Islamabad High Court (IHC) decision regarding imposition of ban on anchorperson Dr Aamir Liaqat for appearing on tv Channel.

A 3-member bench of SC presided over by Chief Justice of Pakistan (C JP) Mian Saqib Nisar on Wednesday took up for hearing appeal plea filed by Aamir Liaqat Hussain against IHC decision.
Babar Awan counsel for the petitioner said during the course of hearing of the case that the petitioner has withdrawn the case in IHC but the high court shut the program by taking suo motu notice.

The CJP Mian Saqib Nisar remarked high court is not authorized to take suo motu notice. CJP abolished the ban on Aamir Liaqat.  Addressing Babar Awan, the CJP remarked if Aamir LIaqat violates the court’s orders then contempt of court proceedings will be initiated against him. You should make Aamir Liaqat understand that if he does not comply with our orders then he will not be able to conduct program on TV.

Hajj Policy 2018 Announced. The federal government on Wednesday has approved the Hajj Policy 2018. The Hajj Policy 2018 has revealed that the official hajj scheme quotas will 120,000. The Hajj Policy 2018 was approved by the federal government and in a press conference the Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Sardar Muhammad Yousaf revealed that the Hajj applications will be accepted by the government banks starting from 10th January.

The designated branches of government banks will start receiving Government Scheme Hajj applications from 15th to 25th January 2018. Sardar Muhammad Yousaf also revealed that the official Hajj scheme draw will be held on 26th January, 2018.

He said 59,210 would perform the Hajj in 2018 through Private Hajj Scheme. He also revealed that the Hajj dues have not been increased in Hajj Policy 2018 to enable the intending pilgrims to perform the sacred religious duty with immunity.

According to Hajj Policy 2018 Rs.280,000 for North region while Rs 270,000 would be received from the intending pilgrims going to perform Hajj from South Region. On the other hand the intending pilgrims would have to deposit Rs 13,050 additional for sacrifice.

Sadar Yousaf said that the policy of the last year will continue and total of 179,210 Pakistanis would perform Hajj in 2018. The 67 percent will perform Hajj from government scheme and 33 percent under private scheme.

The hajj policy for 2018 was revised due to the decision of the Supreme Court, revealed the minister.

He said that if there are any divergences in the Hajj scheme then the government will bear them.

He added that it is the fifth consecutive year that the government has effectively declared the hajj policy.

Hajj Policy 2018 details

Government has reserved nearly 10,000 seats for the citizens over 80 years of age and they will also be accompanied by one attendant.

Furthermore the people intended to perform Hajj but have failed to get their names selected in draws for at least three times will have an additional chance this year. Government has also reserved 10,000 seats for them.

According to the Hajj policy 2018 those who have earlier performed the sacred duty through government scheme will not be eligible to apply via government scheme.

Moreover, the people who have performed hajj in the last three years will not be eligible to apply either through government or private hajj schemes.

Government Banks Will Start Accepting Hajj Applications 2018 From Jan 15

When To Submit Hajj Application 2018?

The government banks will start accepting Hajj Applications 2018 from 10th January till 24th January.  The draw to choose the pilgrims for hajj 2018 through the government scheme will be held on 26th January.

Apex Court Put Ban on Admission in Unregistered Medical Colleges. The Supreme Court has barred admission in all unregistered private medical colleges countrywide. Heading a two-member bench at the Supreme Court’s Lahore registry against fee-hike in private medical colleges and hospitals on Tuesday, Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Saqib Nisar summoned details of fee structure of all private medical colleges and barred admission in private medical colleges those who have not registered under PMDC countrywide until further notice.

The chief justice observed that his recent visit to the Mayo Hospital was heavily criticised but maintained that he will pay a visit wherever there is a healthcare issue. He remarked that the court is hearing cases of public interest because of passion, not for its personal glory. He also summoned details of bank accounts of owners of medical colleges.

Chief Justice Nisar observed that medical colleges are being run on rooftops and garages, adding that the court should be told about the structure of such colleges.
He remarked that “although we are producing doctors, we don’t know whether our tool is correct or not.” The apex court has summoned the Chief Executives of all private medical colleges with affidavits.

Shahbaz Orders To Gear Up Work On Orange Line Train Project. The Chief Minister Punjab Mian Shahbaz Sharid has said that the huge delay of 22 months has been occurred in the orange line metro train project but the work on it has been restarted after verdict of Supreme Court.

He was presiding over a meeting at the site-office of Lahore Orange Line Metro Train to review progress on construction work of the project.He said that the conscious people will hold the PTI accountable for it; he said and added that the political elements that created hurdles in this great project will be held accountable by the masses. He lamented that the PTI has given priority to personal interest over the public interest.

He said the with the grace of Almighty Allah. Such occasions occur in life but we have to continue our work with tolerance, patience and persistence and it is the opportunity to show something to the nation. You all should burn the midnight oil and strive for early completion of the project. You should double and triple your
efforts so as to compensate the delay. He said that success will be achieved if work is done 25 hours a day and every moment is utilized. If we work harder, then Almighty Allah shall also support us, he added.

Shahbaz said that Orange Line Metro Train is project of the whole nation. This initiative shall provide economical, honorable and cheap transport facilities to the laymen. He congratulated the Pakistani nation, the people of Punjab and especially the Lahori’ites and assured that this project will be completed with renewed commitment and passion. He said that sooner this project is completed, the more laymen will be benefitted and
added that he will regularly monitor the progress of the project. He said the directions of the Supreme Court with regard to the project will be fully abided by adding that a special fund will be established for the protection of historical buildings.

CM directed that a best plan of alternate traffic be designed before the start of work on GPO Chowk at Shahrah-e-Quaid-e-Azam and added that this alternate traffic scheme should be devised in consultation with the experts. The citizens should face lesser difficulties in case of closer of traffic and alternate traffic plan should be effectively projected so that the people could know about the substitute routes. We would strive to complete this project as soon as possible so as to provide an honorable mean of transport to the citizens, he added.

“Government will collapse before March.30. Next 3 months are very crucial for the politics as major political ups and downs are going to take place”, he said this during his talks with a private TV channel here Monday.

He went on to say Shahid Khaqan Abbasi is a Stepney Prime Minister (PM) and he is waiting when Nawaz Sharif will go so that he could get next turn. There is no foreign and interior ministry in the country;

He underlined that Nawaz Sharif wanted decision of Supreme Court on the fashion of decisions of Malik Qayyum and Gen Butt. But media is very strong here and people fear from media.

I am proud of it if some one calls me spokesperson of army, he held. If I talk of army and judiciary then I talk of service for nation and the country;, he added.

Supreme Court Reject PTI demand against Khawaja Asif

On Thursday Supreme Court disposed off petition inquiring about Defense Minister Khawaja Asif field by Usman Dar Threek-i-Insaaf Leader.

The petition wanted to disqualify Asif from Sialkot’s NA-110 constituency as Asif won the NA-110 seat with 92,803 votes, whereas Usman Dar only managed 71,525 during 2013 General Election. This was Khawaja Asif’s third consecutive victory from the Sialkot NA-110.

Khawaja Asif on twitter expressed his feeling via tweet:  “I am humbled… Supreme Court has endorsed the will of people of Sialkot.”
