Emerging Teams Asia Cup 2018 will be co-hosted by Pakistan and Sri Lanka
Emerging Teams Asia Cup 2018: Schedule, Teams and Venues. Emerging Teams Asia Cup 2018 is all set to kick off on 6th December 2018 in the National Stadium Karachi and Sri Lanka. Pakistan and Sri Lanka will co-host the Emerging Teams Asia Cup 2018 in Karachi and the opening match of the tournament will be played between Pakistan and Hong Kong on 6th December in the National Stadium.
Teams:
There will be eight teams that are participating in the Asia cup 2018 tournament schedule to take place on December, 6 in Karachi.
The eight participating teams are as follows;
- Pakistan,
- Sri Lanka,
- Afghanistan,
- India,
- Oman,
- Bangladesh,
- Hong Kong,
- United Arab Emirates (UAE),
All the participating teams are divided into two groups A and B.
Group A:
Sri Lanka, India, Afghanistan and Oman.
Group B:
Pakistan, Bangladesh, UAE and Hong Kong.
The opening match of the tournament will be played between Group ‘B’ games Pakistan and Hong Kong on 6th December in the National Stadium, while the matches in Sri Lanka will start on the 07th December, 2018.

The Group ‘B’ matches of Pakistan leg will be played in two venues of Karachi i.e. National Stadium and South-End Ground Club from 6th to 9th December, 2018.
The participating teams will arrive in Karachi on 4th December and will practice on the next day at National Stadium. On the same day, Bangladesh and UAE will compete at South-End Ground Club.
