HEC Bans 450 Programs from 180 Private & Public Universities. Higher Education Commission (HEC) has banned the 450 programs of 180 private and public universities.

The banned programs by the HEC include Masters, M. Phil, and PhD levels. The official website of Higher Education Commission (HEC) has listed the banned programs and the respective educational institutes. The HEC has also advertised in the newspaper in order to warn the students not to enroll themselves for the banned programs offered by these 180 private and public universities.

The HEC will not recognize degrees of banned programs so people have to take their decision timely to avoid inconvenience in future.

The degrees obtained from Chakwal University and Imperial College of Business Studies Lahore will not be recognized by HEC anymore.
