PSL 2018 Opening Ceremony is Going to be a Fun Filled Event With Glittering Celebs’ Performances. The PSL 2018 opening ceremony is all set to kick off today on 22nd February in Dubai at 7:00pm which will also be followed by a cricket match between Peshawar Zalmi and Multan Sultans will start at 10pm Pakistan Standard time.

The artists including Shehzad Roy, Ali Zafar, Hareem Farooq, and Abida Parveen set to electrify crowds at the PSL 2018 opening ceremony in UAE.

The curtain raiser for the opening ceremony of the PSL 2018 third edition held on Wednesday and attended by the Shehzad Roy, Ali Zafar, Hareem Farooq, and Abida Parveen and Najam Sethi in Dubai. The opening ceremony of the PSL 2018 will include some world class performers who have a track record of mesmerizing their fans with their timeless songs.

Abida Parveen will perform a Sufi act and a medley of her best songs.

Ali Zafar, who sung the PSL 2018 anthem, will offer iconic performance while Shehzad Roy will once again be seen in action.

On the other hand the charming film stars Hareem Farooq and Bilal Ashraf will host the event together.

Few international stars will also be the part of PSL 2018 opening ceremony including Sachal Orchestra (to perform Pakistan’s national anthem) and Jason Derulo.

This year the opening ceremony of PSL will include some other mesmerizing acts and performances that will captivate the attention of audience.

PSL 2018

There will be 34 matches between the six teams including Islamabad United, Peshawar Zalmi, Quetta Gladiators, Multan Sultans, Karachi Kings and Lahore Qalandars.

The final match of PSL 2018 is to be held at Karachi’s National Stadium on 25th March. There will be cricket match between Peshawar Zalmi and Multan Sultans will start at 10pm Pakistan Standard time.

PSL 2018 Tickets Are Now Up For Sale. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) today, on Monday has declared that the sale for the tickets of PSL 2018. The tickets of 13 matches of PSL 2018 are now up for sale. The 13 matches of the PSL 2018 are scheduled to be played in Sharjah starting from February.

In this regard PCB has issued a statement which revealed that the two legs will be played at the historic Sharjah Cricket Stadium. The first leg starts with a match between Islamabad United and Quetta Gladiators on 28th February while the second leg will begin from 13th March with a match between Multan Sultans and Islamabad United.

The tickets for PSL 2018 Dubai leg and games in Pakistan would be declared later.

PSL 3 2018 Drafting Ceremony. The PSL 3 2018 drafting ceremony was held in Lahore yesterday on 12th November. The six teams including Lahore Qalandars, Quetta Gladiators, Karachi Kings, Islamabad United, Peshawar Zalmi and Multan Sultans selected players for the PSL 3 2018.

The Pakistan Super League (PSL) third edition is schedule to start in 2018 and this time it will be a big event with the inclusion of one more team named Multan Sultan. The t20 PSL 3 tournament will be played in UAE and its final match will be in Karachi.

A total of 501 players, foreign and local, were available for selection at the drafting ceremony and each team had a salary limit of $1.2 million for a squad of 20 players.

Here is the list of players that the teams selected from different categories:

Platinum category

  1.     Lahore Qalandars have picked Australian batsman Chris Lynn in the category.
  2.     Islamabad United have successfully bid for South African all-rounder JP Duminy in the platinum category.
  3.     Karachi Kings have picked batsman Colin Ingram, also from South Africa.
  4.     Quetta Gladiators have drafted Shane Watson, an all-rounder from Australia.
  5.     Peshawar Zalmi have drafted West Indian all-rounder Dwayne Bravo.
  6.     Multan Sultans have picked South African spin-bowler Imran Tahir.

Diamond category

  1.     Lahore Qalandars have picked Bangladesh bowler Mustafizur Rehman in the diamond category.
  2.     Islamabad United have picked New Zealand batsman Luke Ronchi.

Everything You Need to Know About PSL 3 2018. The preparation for the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 3 is all set to begin in this month of October.

The management authority of Pakistan Super League (PSL) and Pakistan cricket board (PCB) will arrange the draft for the selection of new players.  Multan Sultan will be a new team in PSL 3 2018. The former skipper Shahid Afridi has bid farewell to Pakistan Peshawar Zalmi and joined Karachi Kings.

Draft Ceremony for PSL 3 2018

The Drafts ceremony for PSL 3 were set to be held in November but due to some reason it will be held in mid of October 2017.

Matches

The 34 matches will be played in the PSL 3 2018. The 10 out of 34 matches will be in Pakistan with 6 taking place in Lahore and the other 4 matches will be played in Karachi.
