PTI strongly criticizes Daniyal Aziz statement regarding PIA privatization.Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has strongly criticized the statement of Federal Minister for Privatization Daniyal Aziz regarding privatization of Pakistan International Airlie (PIA).

According to details, the Central Leader of PTI Asad Umer has stated that Privatization Minister Daniyal Aziz was totally unaware of law and added that Minister should come to Assembly and give policy statement on this important issue.

“Minister should study the legislation first and then give policy statement on it” he added. He said that it clearly mentions in law that Country National Airline should be made better instead to privatize it.

Privatization of PIA Inevitable

Asad Umer alleged that government was clearly losing the country national asset only to protect the personal business interests of Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and Shujaat Azeem.

PTI announces to join Qadri’s protest.Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Thursday announced that PTI would join the Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Tahirul Qadri for the protest he has announced for January 17.

While addressing a press conference, he stated that PTI’s tigers will join Dr Tahirul Qadri when he begins his grand protest against the government on January 17. However, Imran Khan has also requested Chief justice to take suo moto notice of the Model Town incident, saying there had been “no headway” in the case for the past four years “because Shahbaz Sharif is sitting at the top” in the province.

He also criticized the alleged role played by Sanaullah in the tragedy, who, Khan alleged, “had been accused of murders” by people in his own party. Speaking on the murder and rape of six-year-old Zainab in Kasur, he said that the people, including the victim’s father, had been demanding justice from the CJP and the chief of army staff (COAS) because they had lost faith in the Punjab police and government.

“It is not as if these kinds of crimes do not happen in other countries; but a civilised society decides that such crimes will not be allowed to take place in the future whenever such incidents happen.
He explained his perspective saying that the incident may not have taken place had strict action been taken against the culprits involved in the 2015 Kasur child abuse scandal.
He also criticized the police’s firing on grieving protesters on Wednesday, which ended up killing two people, asking: “What professional police does this?” he asked.

He also criticised the police in Punjab for acting with impunity because the Sharif family had been “using it to protect themselves and act on their orders.”
The PTI chief, whose party is leading the government in Khyber Pakhtnukhwa (KP), also presented statistics on how crime has fallen in KP since 2014, adding that the same could happen in Punjab if police reforms are initiated.

The next elections in Pakistan will not be including the Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) and Biometric Voting Machines (BVMs), revealed the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP). ECP revealed that they can’t buy the biometric voting machine unless the government pays approximately Rs.90 billion.

Earlier the Election Commission of Pakistan has decided to introduce the Electronic Voting machines till the next poll in 2018 but now failed to introduce them and the whole credit goes to our government.

All the opposition parties including Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) have demanded to place the Electronic Voting Machines in the polling stations for the upcoming election in Pakistan.

There are approximately 80,000 election polling stations across the country and the ECP only needs to place 0.6 million EVMs and BVMs but failed to do so due to the lack of funding required for purchasing.

By keeping in mind the ongoing situation in Pakistan it is sure that the next elections in 2018 will feature the same low quality magnetized ink.
